January and February of this year have been busy months for California surfers. The “El NiƱo” effect has brought consistent surf to the Southern California region; however, one Mex Uno rider has avoided the typical crowds at the San Diego breaks and has been scoring less crowded and bigger surf. That’s right, we’re talking about surfing Baja.
Now a San Miguel Local
While the violence and instability that has come to be associated with Baja, and the rest of Mexico for that matter, has kept many of us from crossing our southern border, it has not deterred one Mex Uno team rider. Jose, has been spending much of the 2010 winter in Baja, Mexico, surfing spots like San Miguel, and he’s been scoring!
